Coil Chocks (Bunks)

Coil Chocks, also known as Coil Bunks, are used in conjunction with 4"x 4" or other hardwood timbers to stabilize metal coils in the load securement process on flatbed trailers. The Coil Chocks/Coil Bunks are designed prevent the coil from rolling around or off the flatbed.... We have Coil Chocks/Coil Bunks available for both standard- and heavy-duty applications. We’ve engineered our Coil Chocks/Coil Bunks to assist in compliance with DOT standard 49CFR section 393.120. Note that the Coil Chock/Coil Bunk itself is not a cargo control device and should not be accounted for in total cargo control system working load limit calculations.
