This particular winch is designed to smoothly slide along our "C" Channel Winch Track so that you can pick exactly where you want your anchor point to be for your tie down job. This kind of flexibility offers you better control over your cargo.
Engineered from heat-treated carbon steel for extra strength, our Standard Sliding C Channel 3-Bar Winch has a galvanized finish to help protect the winch from rust and corrosion, extending its durability. The wide slot between the three bars means that you can easily slide the Winch Strap quickly through, saving you a lot of time tying down your cargo. This is especially helpful during the winter months when ice build up is very frequent. To make it even easier, our thumb pawl feature includes an extension that lets you easily access the pawl to lock or loosen the sprocket, even if you're wearing gloves.
Kinedyne's winches are manufactured to meet DOT regulations as well as North American Cargo Securement, CHP, WSTDA, and Canadian 905 standards. They've been also stamped with the working load limit in pounds and kilograms, the manufactured date, and the country of origin in order to comply with North American Regulations.
