Our K2 Kaptive Beam can create a strong and reliable second deck within the trailer that can be used to securely and safely stack extra cargo, boosting the amount of available space. This means that you don't have to risk the load by stacking everything on top of each other. Whenever they're not in use, our Beams can then be stored at the top of the ceiling so that they'll be ready the next time you need them.
The high-strength aluminum K2 Wide Flange Kaptive Beam features a unique Head Assembly made of hard anodized aluminum material for extra strength. A heavy-duty spring-loaded trigger mechanism is what keeps the Beam firmly held in place within the Track's slots for reliable support. The trigger has an angled lip that enables easier height adjustment by the Beam adjustment tool.
We've built our K2 Kaptive Beam with the same emphasis on strength and durability that can be expected from the Cargo Control People. Engineered with only quality materials and components, we focused on a reduction of friction to reduce wear and tear on the Beam foot assembly's trigger mechanism and lock pawl, increasing the K2 Kaptive Beam System's durability and life expectancy.
