New Eye-to-Eye Lifting Slings from Kinedyne
Provide Strength and Durability for Fleet Maintenance, Construction and More
Web Slings rated for choker, vertical, and basket hitches
BRANCHBURG, NJ (Feb. 15, 2022) — Kinedyne LLC has expanded its full line of lifting slings to include new Type 4 twisted eye-to-eye lifting slings engineered to be tough, flexible, secure, and lightweight.
They are made of two-ply polyester webbing for less stretch, greater abrasion resistance and improved moisture resistance. Typically used with lifting devices, such as hoists, cranes, and pullies, these slings are rated for use in choker, vertical, and basket hitches. Vehicle fleet repair shops use them to lift engines, axles, and other heavy parts. Slings also see heavy use in construction industry applications.
The eyes of a Type 4 sling are twisted 90 degrees to allow for a smoother choker hitch and a better fit in a basket hitch. Kinedyne’s slings feature wrapped bearing points to provide additional wear protection for greater durability. Available in 1-inch and 2-inch sizes, they meet or exceed Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B30.9, and Web Sling & Tie Down Association (WSTDA) standards and regulations.
"Adding eye-to-eye slings to our lineup gives us one more lifting solution to offer our customers," said Bob Dissinger, Kinedyne director of sales – United States. "Whether an application calls for the strength and durability of a wire rope sling or the unmatched flexibility of an eye-to-eye polyester sling, Kinedyne has the solution."
The eye-to-eye polyester slings require no hardware to operate and can be removed easily from beneath a load. They retain their flexibility throughout their lifespan without stretching out, offering reliable support for a variety of lifting applications. They are manufactured, rated, and tested per the WSTDA specifications for synthetic web slings.
Like all Kinedyne lifting slings, the new Type 4 slings are available wherever Kinedyne cargo control equipment is sold. For more information, visit kinedyne.com/slings/c/1768 or call customer service at (800) 848-6057 in the United States, (800) 268-3530 in Canada, or 011-5255-53184844 in Mexico.
