If you're looking for a way to experience both the strength of a Winch Strap and the durability of a wire cable for your next tie down job, then you've found it with Kinedyne's Combination Strap and Cable Low-Profile Weld-On Winch. This type of winch is ideal for any tie down job that requires different types of securement methods.

This winch is designed with an extended "Thumb Saver" thumb pawl that offers a longer extension for easier access. This kind of access makes it easier to operate the sprocket lock for easier tensioning or loosening of the winch. With this winch easily welded to your flatbed trailer, you don't have to choose whether you want to weld on a winch designed only for Winch Straps or a winch designed only for cable. The winch has a working load limit of 3,335 Lbs. / 1,515 Kgs. when used with cable and a working load limit of 5,000 Lbs. / 2,500 Kgs. when used with Winch Straps.

Experience this kind of double-duty strength with our Combination Strap and Cable Low-Profile Weld-On Winch. Constructed from heat-treated carbon steel for extra durability, our winch is easy to install with minimum welding requirements of 1/4" fillet weld, 4" long on both sides of the frame and 1/8" penetration. Make sure that the winch is installed in a position where you can clearly see the pawl engagement.

All of Kinedyne's winches are in compliance with DOT regulations, WSTDA, Canadian 905, CHP, and North American Cargo Securement standards. The frames of the winches are stamped with the working load limit, manufactured date, and country of origin in accordance to North American Regulations. Note that the working load limit will be reduced if there are excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel.

Warning English:	WARNING: When tightening or loosening winches, always maintain a firm grip on the winch bar. Ensure load is stable before tightening or releasing tension in a strap assembly. Never release a winch bar without checking the pawl to ensure that it is fully engaged between ratchet teeth. Releasing a winch bar without the pawl being properly engaged may cause serious injury and/or death to the user or bystanders. The use of slip resistant handle winch bar, specifically designed to tighten or loosen winches, is recommended. Kinedyne winch bars (page 18) shall be used to tension and release winch tie down assemblies. Use of any unspecified leverage increasing device, such as a cheater bar, may generate enough force to break a piece of cargo control equipment during installation, release, or while in transit. The release of energy when a piece of cargo control equipment breaks may cause serious injury or death to the user and/or bystanders. User shall stand clear of the winch bar handle during operation of the winch bar in case the winch bar slips. The tip of the winch bar shall be inserted through both holes in the end cap to prevent the winch bar from “slipping out” and overloading the tip and/or end cap.Winches shall not be loaded in excess of their working load limit. Winches shall not be used as a pulling or lifting device. A minimum of 12” of webbing shall be inserted through the slot with a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) wraps on the winch mandrel. CAUTION: Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel will reduce the working load limit of the winch. WARNING: Welding galvanized material will form toxic fumes. Welding shall be done with adequate ventilation.

Se recomienda el uso de barras tensoras con mango antideslizantes, diseñadas específicamente para apretar o aflojar malacates. Para estos ensamblajes de amarre, debe utilizarse las barras tensoras para malacates de Kinedyne (pág. 18). El uso de cualquier dispositivo de apalancamiento no especificado, tal como una barra de extensión, pudiera generar la fuerza suficiente para romper alguna pieza del equipo de control de carga, durante la instalación, liberación omientras está en tránsito pudiendo liberar tal energía que cause serias lesiones e incluso la muerte, al operario o a cualquier persona alrededor. Todo operario, debe mantenerse alejado de la manija de la barra tensora para malacates durante su operación, en caso de que esta resbale. La punta de la barra tensora para malacates debe insertarse en ambos orificios del cabezal del mandril para prevenir el deslizamiento de la barra y la sobrecarga en su punta o el cabezal del mandril. Los malacates no deben sobrecargarse para no exceder su carga límite de trabajo. Los malacates no deben utilizarse como dispositivos de tracción o elevación. Un mínimo de 12¨ de correa debe ser pasadas a través de la ranura del mandril, con un mínimo de dos (2) y unmáximo de cuatro (4) vueltas sobre este. PRECAUCIÓN: El enrollado excesivo de la correa en el eje mandril, reduce la carga límite de trabajo del malacate. ADVERTENCIA: Soldar material galvanizado producirá humos tóxicos. La soldadura debe realizarse con ventilación adecuada.
