Kinedyne created our industrial revolutionary K2 Kaptive Beam System, the most comprehensive, load-optimizing system in the industry. Instead of only using the floor to store and secure cargo, our K2 Kaptive Beams can be used to increase cargo capacity by utilizing the full floor to ceiling height of a trailer.
Built with the kind of durability and wear resistance that you’ve come to expect from Kinedyne, these beams are engineered to perform under heavy-duty conditions, offering efficient support for both decking and shoring applications. Bring them down from the ceiling when you need to create a solid deck or barrier for your loads, then raise them back up to the ceiling when you’re done with them.
Easy to install in most trailer configurations, our K2 Kaptive Beam Tracks are designed to operate smoothly with the beams to make your cargo securement job a lot easier and quicker. The beams glide along the tracks easily for better control over beam adjustment, saving a lot of time in the long run. These tracks offer optimal versatility for optimal use of trailer space.

Kinedyne K2 Kaptive Beams
The K2 Kaptive Beams utilize an aluminum beam extrusion with a unique head assembly that moves within a vertical aluminum track. They are available as both standard and wide flange and are adjustable from 90" to 100" for 96" trailers and from 97" to 107" for 102" trailers. The head assemblies are made from zinc-plated steel (or zinc-plated steel and anodized high-strength aluminum, depending on the specific series). The body of the foot assembly and guide shoe are made of hard anodized aluminum, the locking pawls are steel, and the heavy-duty, spring-loaded trigger mechanism provide a decking system nearly impossible to wear out during the life of the trailer.
The K2 Kaptive Beams feature a new head assembly trigger profile interfaces with the revised, grooved head design of the beam adjustment tool, making the system’s operation much smoother and more efficient even in refrigerated environments. The trigger now features an angled lip that enables the beam adjustment tool to make a more secure connection, making locking, unlocking, and adjusting beam height faster and easier.
Kinedyne K2 Kaptive Beam Tracks
The high-strength aluminum alloy K2 Kaptive Beam Track is designed to conform to most trailer manufacturers’ different post configurations. This fit and functionality allows the system track to be flush mounted as well as integrated to work with composite and standard sheet and post trailer designs. Three types of tracks are available: single flanged or double flanged surface mounted or single row with no flange recessed mounted. We’ve designed the system to offer a reduction of friction, which reduces wear and tear on the beam foot assembly’s trigger mechanism, lock pawl, and track, increasing system durability and lifespan.
Kinedyne K2 Kaptive Beam Logistic Straps
For a more versatile cargo securement job that requires an extra layer of support, we have two Logistic Straps available that are designed to be used with the K2 Kaptive Beam System. These straps are equipped with a pair of effectively strong Single Stud Fittings with D-Rings that easily fit into the K2 Kaptive Beam Tracks with just a push and a click. The 2" x 16’ tightly weaved polyester webbing offers durability as well as flexibility as it can be easily wrapped around cargo to create an efficient hold. The Logistic Strap is equipped with either a strong Ratchet Buckle or an easy-to-use Cam Buckle, both of which offer a strong and supportive grip over the cargo.
Kinedyne K2 Kaptive Beam Accessories
We carry a variety of helpful K2 Kaptive Beam Accessories to help make your securement or double decking job even more effectively smooth and reliable. We have a series of beveled End Caps to attach to the end of the K2 Kaptive Beam Tracks to cover up those sharp edges. Letting cargo get caught on those ends can prove to be damaging, so we offer these protective layers to prevent that from happening. There’s also a helpful Beam Stop to keep the beams from going past a certain point, offering better control.
When it comes to positioning the K2 Kaptive Beams, you’ll want to have our Beam Release Pole on hand. This extension is very easy to use as it helps you with making adjustments to the height of the beams, whether it’s getting them down from ceiling height or pushing them back up for storage. A Mounting Bracket is also available as a handy storage place to hold the Release Pole whenever you’re not using it.
Finally, we also have an extremely helpful K2 Kaptive Beam Instruction Label that details everything you need to know about using our system. Coated in a strong adhesive, this label can be placed to a spot where it’s most viewable. It details installation, operation, and maintenance instructions for your convenience.
K2 Kaptive Beam Replacement Parts
The cargo control industry can be a rough work environment. When K2 Kaptive Beams get damaged, don’t waste money by throwing the whole thing away. Instead, we carry all the replacements parts you need to make a successful repair to the K2 Kaptive Beam head assembly. We have the complete head assembly available that’s ready to easily attach to the rest of the beam. If it’s just a piece that’s been broken, we have the locking head, head insert, and the nut and bolt available separately. From the complete assembly to the bolt needed to attach everything together, we have everything ready for your repair job.
