Custom color Kinedyne cargo straps boost the look of your brand
Nothing helps a fleet stand out more sharply than stunning graphic design on its trucks and trailers. Color plays a critical role in making any design pop, right down to cargo straps.
A well-executed brand projects the value a fleet offers. Truck operators put a lot of thought into expressing their brand identify as "rolling billboards" by applying custom graphic designs to their rigs and equipment. Getting the most bang for this buck extends to the smallest details. That’s why Kinedyne offers custom color cargo straps. With this option, you can match your company colors, your truck, or choose a contrasting accent color for ratchet straps.
Kinedyne offers a full line of standard, K-FORCE and Rhino MAX 2-inch, 3-inch or 4-inch cargo, winch, and ratchet straps. Available in a range of lengths to accommodate all sorts of loads, Kinedyne straps can be finished with your choice of end fitting, including hooks, loops, rings, clips, or chain anchors. These end fittings may be powder-coated or zinc-plated. Straps are available for virtually any load, with a choice of Working Load Limit (WLL) and breaking strength options. Kinedyne’s standard webbing coating protects against UV and water damage. The K-FORCE and Rhino MAX straps have additional abrasion-resistant coatings to stand up to the toughest jobs.
Standard colors for Kinedyne cargo straps are gold with black edges, K-Force orange with black edges and Rhino Max grey with black edges. The standard gold straps feature the Kinedyne logo, orange is emblazoned with the K-Force logo and the Rhino Max straps showcase the tough rhinoceros. But you can change any of that. Choose from a rainbow of colors and even have your own brand printed on your straps. The choice is yours.
Coloring
Getting the color into the cargos straps starts with Kinedyne’s in-house manufacturing process. Kinedyne tightly weaves its webbing to create straps with the durability and toughness required by flatbed operators. The straps are then dyed and evenly covered with a coating that protects against UV damage and water penetration to further ensure long life. If desired, the straps can be stenciled with your company name and/or logo at that time to further customize them to boost your brand identity.

Match your straps to your rig, use your company colors or choose one that stands out as an accent — the choice of how to customize your winch straps is entirely up to you. Opting to apply color or stenciling to ratchet straps will help your fleet look good and grab attention out on the road. And because they stand out, customized straps are harder to lose vs. plain ones that "disappear" from view and get left behind.
Using custom color cargos straps can even take the rolling billboard concept to a new level: supporting worthy causes promoted by your company. Fleets that have developed their own eye-catching graphics to stand out wherever they roll often go one or more steps further by dedicating one or two trailers and complete rigs to carry the colors of a charitable nonprofit organization.
Road Show
For one, think pink. No industry has become more visible in supporting breast cancer awareness than trucking. Many fleets and owner operators carry the awareness message boldly and brightly by making the ribbon symbolism part of a powerfully pink graphic design poured over a rig. One Kinedyne dealer recently supported this effort by creating a custom color Kinedyne strap in pink.
Other examples include using color to support the Women in Trucking Association, veterans’ support groups, and the various "Share the Road" traffic-safety awareness campaigns.
Aside from the marketing uses of custom color cargo straps, there can be practical applications as well. Some fleets use color to distinguish their straps by size and length. For example, they order all their 20-foot lengths in red, 30-foot lengths in blue, and 60-foot lengths in green. This approach can improve productivity and efficiency when securing a load because the driver isn’t digging through a lot of straps that look identical trying to read the length on each one. He or she knows by color which one to pick up for the task at hand.
Maybe your fleet has a couple of different types of trailers with specific winch strap needs. You could order a specific color by trailer type. Customize the colors to meet your fleet’s particular needs.
Here at Kinedyne, we use color to quickly convey the Working Load Limit (WLL) and breaking strength of our cargo straps:
•Gold. Traditional Kinedyne Gold, Black-Edge web straps are for standard heavy-duty needs and have a maximum WLL of 5,400 pounds. These "Good" straps are the most used and are ideal for the typical loads most drivers deal with daily.
•Orange. The "Better" line is K-FORCE, designed for tougher tie-down jobs that require more strength than standard straps. These straps have a maximum WLL of 6,670 pounds – 23 percent greater than the current industry standard. They are engineered with more polyester material in the body of the strap, allowing drivers to tie down heavier loads.
•Gray The "Best" in the lineup is the Rhino MAX strap that maintains the maximum 6,670 WLL while adding an abrasion-resistant protective coating engineered for exceptional security when straps are susceptible to scrapes from rough cargo. Kinedyne also recommends regularly using corner protectors to protect cargo and keep straps from being damaged.
Custom strap colors. They can represent anything from corporate brands and strap lengths to standing for causes, beliefs, and hope. They’re really an open canvas for you.
